I was born and raised in the Chicago area. After receiving a bachelor's degree in Biology from St. Mary's College, I moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota. There, I worked full time conducting immunology research while earning a master's degree in Laboratory Medicine and Immunology. I then returned to Chicago to attend Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, graduating in 1980. My pediatric residency training was completed at the University of Chicago.
In 1984, I joined La Grange Pediatrics and had the privilege of working with my predecessors, Dr. Richard Allen and Dr. Paul Wallin. I have been so fortunate to be in a career with great mentors and wonderful families.
As a pediatrician, I view my role as that of a guide and teacher. I hope to help all my patients enjoy healthy lives through preventative care. I enjoy working with families in the spirit of mutual respect and trust.
